Congratulations to Sam Dakin on his land speed record of 100.998 MPH for the APS-PBG 1350 Class at the World of Speed last week. (Special Construction, Partial Streamlining, Supercharged Pushrod Engine, Gasoline, 1000 to 1350 cc) He would have liked to lay down a better run, but sadly, the bearings in Dakinstein's turbo just weren't up to the task.
